5 Fitness Mantra for Women in 2017
Today’s women have a very busy daily schedule and do not find much time to dedicate to their fitness. Every time you look in the mirror and find your clothes to be just a tad bit tighter, you feel guilt tugging at your heart. You promise to yourself that you would go for an early morning jog the next day, but you sleep through it and wake up just in time for work. You decide to eat healthily but then your friend invites you over for dinner and the desserts are simply irresistible. These are some moments when you just can’t say no, but there are some techniques that you can follow easily if you want to stay fit and healthy.
Stay active throughout the day
Constant activity is a very important and easy technique if you want to stay fit. It keeps you fresh while unconsciously burning all those calories you absolutely hate. Walk around the room every few minutes. Take short breaks to stretch yourself and walk to the break room to have a coffee. If you feel tired, sit down for a while and stretch those muscles, but don’t laze around your seat the entire day.
Create an active exercise pattern
You may not have adequate time or energy to hit the gym, but you can always exercise at home. Allot some time every day, whenever you are free, for regular exercise. You don’t need to do extensive push-ups or lift weights; just light exercising will suffice. Plan out easy a work-out schedule comprising of planks, squats, crunches, and step-ups. Just do this exercise every day for 5-10 minutes each You will start feeling better after just a week of exercising.
Indulge into outdoor activity
- Search for local groups that conduct outdoor activities and join them. You can do any activity you like, as long as it involves physical activity.
- Do you want to buy something? Walk to the supermarket and get it
- Have an overgrown lawn? Grab the lawnmower and mow your lawn yourself.
- Just remain active through the entire day. Meet friends, go around on your bicycle, or play football; just do some form of physical activity the entire day.
Never skip meals
Skipping meals is the worst thing you can do to your body. Starving depletes your body of the daily energy you need. You do not get adequate proteins, carbohydrates, and vitamins. Your body eventually begins to shut down due to lack of fuel. This reduces weight, but at the cost of your health. Only a healthy body holds a healthy mind. If you feel to need to alter your meals, replace your junk food with a healthy salad. Plan your lunch and dinner. Eat more vegetables, prefer boiled or grilled food instead of deep fried and fatty food.
Never focus on weight loss
Plan your activities but don’t stress about losing weight. Working out too much can be more damaging than not working out at all Don’t focus on losing weight, focus on living healthy. You can weigh above average but if you have a healthy and active lifestyle, it is more profitable to your body than being slim and unhealthy.
Women require physical activity every day in their lives. It keeps their mind healthy, prevents premature ageing and wards off unwanted diseases. So plan your daily schedule right now, focus on remaining fit and start living a healthy lifestyle. Keep reading our women’s health blogs
